Top Lash Looks — New York Fashion Week 2018

Fashion month has kicked off with a bang in New York City. With beauty inspiration at every turn, NYFW set the tone for the biggest beauty and fashion trends to come this 2019 Spring Season.

Being backstage, on the runway or in the front row, are the ideal places for models and celebrities to show off their most dramatic lashes, bold hairstyles, and chic outfits from well-known designers.

So what’s the main beauty trend this upcoming Spring? Bold and Bright.

Below you’ll find some of the most daring looks from New York Fashion Week and our favourite lash looks from one of the biggest fashion events of the year.

A designer that likes to style with vibrant colours, Ulla Johnson added punches of bright magenta on the lips. For an unexpected pop of colour, she completed the look with neon pink lashes. We don’t often see coloured lashes at New York Fashion Week, but Ulla Johnson wasn’t afraid to use this look on several of her models.

Colour isn’t for everyone — but Ulla Johnson’s models could pull off any Sugarlash PRO coloured lashes.

Actress Dascha Polanco was a showstopper at the Saks IT List Townhouse launch event at New York Fashion Week. Her sleek top knot paired with her super-long lashes made Dascha impossible to miss at the event. The length of her lashes, golden eyeshadow and warm tones accentuated her brown eyes and the rest of her features in a soft, feminine way.

Designer Anna Sui went all out at NYFW and created a watercolour painting vibes on the runway. Models were selected to rock colourful splashes of orange, pink and yellow, across their eyelids and brows.

By adding these colours, it made the models’ natural lashes pop out against the many layers of colours as shown above.

What would this model’s lashes look like with a Curlperfect Lashlift?

Camilla Belle held on to the last bit of summer and gave us a glimpse of spring time with her sunshine yellow look. The pop of yellow on her eyelids pulls the focus onto her bold eyes and natural looking lashes. To balance out the bold look, Camilla rocks a soft pink lip.

In the future if we could get our hands on her for lash extensions — we would add more emphasis in the mid eye section to lift the eyes and freshen them up for a more youthful effortless look (we could even do them in yellow!)

It was almost impossible to miss Shay Mitchell at the Michael Kors Collection Spring 2019 Runway Show. Wearing nude lips, contoured skin, and soft brown shades, Shay’s full and long lashes completed her look.

The Pretty Little Liars actresses has always stunned us with her usual dramatic makeup, but we love this natural glam look — she’s a showstopper in our books.

Designer Tom Ford went for lace and leather at New York Fashion Week this year. Models like Gigi Hadid and Kaia Gerber walked the runway, wearing subtle makeup to compliment Ford's designs.

Kaia Gerber was selected to rock a smoky eye and soft coloured blush on her cheeks. Her lips were kept neutral, so the attention was mainly on her eyes and short, but full lashes.
