SLP X Brow Lamination

SLP X Brow Lamination

You may have heard of a new trend sweeping the beauty industry - Brow Lamination. Brow lamination is the latest and greatest service in the brow industry, and it only makes sense to add to your menu if you’re currently performing lash lifts, as it’s the same product! Brow lamination gives you the “Glossier Boy Brow” look, but lasts up to 6 weeks! Adding arch and definition and fullness to your brows by maximizing every hair and locking it into place. Get that trendy, full brow look and give clients an easy add-on service that will have their lashes perfectly framed!

Interesting tid-bit, you can use the Lash Lift Kit to perform this service! A nice little benefit to having the supplies already on hand if you are already doing lash lifts. However, we strongly encourage all artists to complete proper training and certification to safely perform brow lamination services and prior to using products directly on the eyebrows.

STEP 1:
Brush through your client’s brows to prepare them for application.

STEP 2:
To position your client’s brow hairs into the desired shape, you may apply LIFT ADHESIVE. The adhesive can be applied directly to the eyebrows, positioning them in the direction you wish to laminate the hair. It can be applied with a mascara wand or flocked applicator.

STEP 3:
Apply LIFT directly to your client’s brows and process them for 6 to 8 minutes. While processing you may cover the brows with plastic wrap. Disclaimer: the use of plastic wrap will speed up processing times. It is imperative artists are properly trained to assess how the hair is processing with or without the use of plastic wrap.

STEP 4:
Remove LIFT lotion and apply SET for a maximum of 6-minutes. While processing with the SET lotion you may cover the brows with plastic wrap.

STEP 5:
Remove the SET lotion.

STEP 6:
Use NOURISH to remove any adhesive residue from your client’s brows.

STEP 7:
NOURISH, PLUMP, and GLAZE can be applied to the brows for additional conditioning and nourishment, and to increase hair density of the brow hair after processing.

If stinging, swelling, burning, or any adverse reaction occurs seek out a medical professional.
